Kaleigh Bleu Howland, Third Place, 2019 NSAL Drama Competition, Bloomington University Graduate
Washington, DC — Sept. 25, 2019 – The National Society of Arts & Letters has awarded its 2019 drama competition prizes to seven winners, one of whom is Bloomington actress, Kaleigh Bleu Howland. Howland, a graduate of Indiana University, received the third-place $10,000 Reva Shiner Memorial Award.
She was selected to represent the NSAL Bloomington, Indiana Chapter nationally after winning first place in its own drama competition.
“Having the NSAL support and encourage me as a young artist has made all the difference as I make the leap from college life to the professional world in Los Angeles,” said Howland. “I was absolutely blown away by the level of sincere interest and love for the arts that runs through every single NSAL member. I'm excited to begin my career knowing I have their support.”
